How M-Pesa deposits usually work

  1. Log in to your broker's client area and choose Deposit → M-Pesa.
  2. Enter the amount in KES and the Safaricom number registered in your own name.
  3. Approve the STK push prompt on your phone with your M-Pesa PIN.
  4. The funds normally reflect within minutes. Keep the M-Pesa confirmation SMS until they do.

Tips for safe M-Pesa funding

  • Use the official deposit flow inside the client area. Never send M-Pesa to a person's number, even if they say they work for the broker.
  • Withdraw back to the same number you deposited from; brokers usually require it.
  • Make a small test withdrawal early so you know how long it takes.
  • Some brokers popular in Kenya, such as Deriv, are not CMA licensed and take local payments through agents. Read our Deriv review before you use one.
